The e-procurement system has been developed by the Ministry of Finance (MoF) with the intention of announcing purchases related to MoF or other ministries and federal entities, to submit tenders and announce the awarding of contracts, and enabling suppliers to find out about all tenders and auctions issued by the federal government. They can also participate in these tenders and auctions by submitting bids, following-up on purchase orders and submitting invoices online in a framework that ensures transparency and increases work efficiency in the federal government. In line with the Cabinet Resolution No. 32 of 2014 on Federal Government Procurement Regulation and Storehouses Management, MoF developed an Oracle system for e-procurement. The system aims to increase efficiency and speed up the work process in the federal government.
