Federal Law No. 5 of 1983 concerning nurseries
In the implementation of the provisions hereof, a nursery shall be every adequate location designated for children’s care up until the age of four years, including nurseries pertaining or annexed to a school.
The provisions hereof shall not be applied to nurseries established by foreign states or international agencies in the UAE, and nurseries limited to the education of the children of persons working in diplomatic and consular representation entities pertaining to one state.
A nursery shall be established in view of caring for children and raising them in a proper manner through offering services enumerated in this law. The owner, persons working in a nursery, and the nursery itself must meet the conditions set forth in this law.
