Preparing studies and providing suggestions to strengthen the partnership with the private sector concerning the matters of joint economic business with Gulf States.
Following up on the implementation of the consolidated economic agreement of the GCC States, the economic decisions taken by the Supreme Council of the GCC and the related Ministerial Committees, in coordination with the State competent authorities.
Participating in the relevant committees in the GCC, and following-up on the implementation of recommendations issued in this regard.
Following-up on the workflow of the GCC common market in accordance with the decisions of the relevant councils and committees.
Participating in economic-related dialogues and joint projects' meetings of GCC countries and following-up on the implementation of the recommendations issued in this regard.
Following-up on the drafts of framework agreements and free trade agreements between GCC countries and the international economic groupings and States in coordination with Legal Affairs Department of the Ministry.
Studying and analysing the decisions and recommendations issued by the GCC and its committees; suggesting and following-up its implementation in coordination with federal authorities and the competent governmental bodies.
Any other competencies related to the work of the department and entrusted to it by the Assistant Under Secretary of International Financial Relationship Sector.
