Supervising the preparation of Zero-Based-Budgeting, aligned to the Ministry of Health's strategic plan. This includes:

• Revenue estimation
• Personnel compensation budget for over 10,000 employees (including promotions, vacant, new & current jobs costing)
• Requirements of 14 hospitals & 68 Primary Health care centers (assets, goods &services)

Tracking the budget implementation through monthly & quarterly reports and presenting it to the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Cabinet Affairs

Supervising the Accounting Periods Closing (Monthly & Annual) and performing the necessary reconciliations

Reporting the Final Accounts Statements to the Ministry of Finance and State Audit Institute, and incorporating their comments

Representing Ministry of Health, coordinating and following up the UAE federal financial system development (Oracle) with professionals external consultants and Ministry of Finance

Representing Ministry of Health, participating in the UAE federal budget system development (Zero-Based-Budgeting) with professionals from Ministry of Finance, Boston Consulting Group, and other external consulting firms

Selected to represent Ministry of Health Budgeting Team during the pilot from for the Zero-Based-Budgeting

Selected as a member of the steering committee of the Hyperion Budgeting system design & implementation in the Federal Government of UAE

Selected as a member of the committee of reengineering Supervision Fees in Ministry of Health

• Committee was assigned to coordinate the revisions of the Supervision Fees compared to other health regulators in 3 countries

Selected as a member of the committee of reengineering Healthcare Services Fee in Ministry of Health

• Committee was assigned to revise the prices of services compared to other healthcare service providers in the UAE

Received a certificate of appreciation (in a celebration that was published in local newspapers) from the Minister of Health for designing & estimating the ministry's Activity Based strategy budget for 2008-2010

After completing Oracle Financial system training, responsible of training financial department employees to use the new system

Selected to administrate the programs & performance budget as part of UAE Federal Financial System Development Project, in cooperation with Ministry of Finance & IMF consultants

Designed & applied new Excel worksheets to automatically calculate & summarize the department work into reports
